Australian Apprenticeship Centres

Australian Apprenticeships Centres (AACs) provide Apprenticeship and Traineeship information and services to employers and people interested in becoming an Apprentice or Trainee. AACs can give advise and assistance to apprentices, trainees and employers with details on training arrangements, training contracts, financial incentives subsidies and allowances. New Apprenticeships Centre services include:

• providing information on Australian Apprenticeships options to employers and other interested people
• marketing and promoting Australian Apprenticeships in the local area
• administering Commonwealth incentive payments to employers
• working with the State/Territory Training Authority to provide an integrated service
• working with Commonwealth contracted Job Network Members, training providers, schools and other organisations
