Group Training Companies (GTC) employ apprentices and trainees and place them with suitable employers. GTC’s also provide or arrange a program of structured on- and off-the-job training, monitor your progress and look after your wages. Your GTC may also be able to assist you in a dispute over work or training. Group training can allow you to work for several different employers, gaining a wider range of work experience.

Australian Apprenticeships Centres (AACs) provide advice and assistance to apprentices, trainees and employers with training arrangements, training contracts, financial incentives subsidies and allowances. Registered Training Organisation – RTO is an organisation such as RMIT which is authorised to train apprentices and trainees, among others, and issue qualifications.
